Winter Break 2019

You guys... this break was NECESSARY. Not just for my survival as a teacher (though that was at a definite tipping point), but for my survival as a HUMAN. (Can I get an amen?!)

While this break started in a dead sprint to Christmas in our house, it has settled down quite nicely and we have had time to relax and recharge as a family.

Each fall, as the school year revs up, we leave things behind us in order to keep up with the pace of it all. Extended breaks like this one allow the space for us to find the pieces of ourselves we have left behind.

Here's a little glimpse into how a caffeinated teacher mom uses break to rejuvenate - while it looks (and is) pretty busy, it is relaxing in its own way...
