This step-by-step process will give you the clarity you need to build a productive and positive community in your classroom.

Where do you even start?

Classroom community is one of those ideas that sounds great in theory, but building one that is authentic, positive, and productive takes much more than a few activities and sharing personal stories.

When it comes down to it, where do you even start?

There simply isn't enough time to spend on community building activities...

You want to bond with students while maintaining authority...

It seems impossible to create a community AND maintain control over the classroom...

Maintaining a classroom community is too draining because the responsibility is all on the teacher...

Redecorating a classroom is too expensive...

You already have enough going on, and building a community will add one more thing to your plate...

Introducing Classroom Community

from the Ground Up -

a digital mini-course that takes you step-by-step through the process of building your classroom community.

Say no more!

Imagine a world where your students are excited to come to class to learn...

We all know that when people feel at ease we are more likely to open up to new ideas, and that is the exact result of a positive and productive classroom community!

Ultimately, if you are ready for a classroom where it feels welcoming and set the stage for learning...

you are in the right place!

I see incredible teachers

feeling their impact is dulled

because they are simply not

connecting with students

the way they want to...

...that's why I created

classroom community

From my very first day teaching in my very first classroom in 2007, I knew that I wanted to create a sense of community among my students. After many years of trial and error, and way too much energy spent on activities that didn't create the lasting bond I'd hoped they would, I found some things that work. And they work really well.

I have taken my years of teaching experience  and distilled the lessons I've learned down to 4 areas of focus - these areas of focus are exactly what I give my energy to when cultivating community in my own classroom, and I see the results in my students' grades, as well as their overall mental and emotional wellness at school.

What will you learn?

  • How to create a space to optimize learning...
  • How to set and uphold standards to foster community...

  • How to encourage positive peer relationships...

  • And more!
