Raise your hand if you’re drowning in things to do….
Yup… me, too.
And while this feeling of overwhelming tasks to check off my list isn’t a new feeling BY FAR (I have a very clear memory of a professor in my teaching credential program telling us that we wouldn’t feel like we were on top of things until at least year 3, and she was absolutely correct), teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic is a best all unto itself.
The grading never stops.
The plans I make are BARELY ahead of where we are.
My house goes through weeks of clean and weeks of “hoarding buried alive.”
I have found one thing, though, that is keeping my head above water.
It’s nothing miraculous, and I still feel extremely stressed pretty much every day, BUT I no longer feel like everything in my life has to take a backseat to the never-ending hamster wheel that is teaching right now…
See what I’m talking about in this video!
